Gerrit Zitterbart

Gerrit Zitterbart, German pianist. In 1976 he joined Ulrich Beetz and Birgit Erichson to found the Abegg Trio, which received important awards, made worldwide tours through more than thirty countries and has recorded dozens of CDs. Joachim Kaiser wrote in the 'Süddeutsche Zeitung' of 'the clever, concentrated and intelligent playing style of Gerrit Zitterbart - a music personality of distinction'.
