Knut Sönstevold



Norwegian bassoonist Knut Sönstevold (b,1945).
Studied composition and the bassoon at the Akademie für Musik und darstellende Kunst in Vienna, receiving his diploma in 1967. Bassoonist in the Danish National Radio Symphony Orchestra, the Stockholm Philharmonic Orchestra and the Swedish Radio Symphony orchestra. Member of the Swedish Royal Academy of Music and professor at the Royal College of Music.
