Norwegian pianist Robert Riefling (1911-1988).
He gave recitals in most of Europe and toured the United States four times and was soloist with a number of famous conductors. Also highly renowned as a pedagogue. With his brother Reimar he was head of the Riefling Piano Institute in Oslo from 1941 until 1952. In 1967 professor at the Academy of Music in Copenhagen, and from 1973 professor at the Norwegian Academy of Music in Oslo.
