German organ player Martin Lücker (b. 1953) studied church music in Hannover, Vienna, Paris, Amsterdam and Boston from the age of 17. From 1976 he studied conducting in Detmold. Aged 29, he accepted the post of cantor at the head Protestant Church, St. Katharinen in Frankfurt/Main, since 1988 lecturer at Frankfurt's college of music. From 1998 professor of the organ department at the College of Music and Dramatic Art in Frankfurt/Main.
