Michael Habermann

French pianist Michael Habermann (b. 1950) was born in Paris and has lived in Canada and Mexico. Now residence in the United States. While he has a wide range of musical interests, his special devotion to the music of the English-Parsee composer Kaikhosru Shapurji Sorabji (1892-1988) has resulted in several first performances. Habermann gives courses in various musical topics at Peabody, teaches privately and plays the organ in church.
