Russian pianist Vladimir Bunin (b1945), at one remove of Samuil Feynberg, was brought up in the tradition of one of the most important Russian piano schools of the 20th century. He studied piano at the Tchaikovsky Conservatory i Moscow. Since concluding his studies, Vladimir Bunin has performed in many countries of Europe, Asia, North Africa and North America with great success. He was named a 'Respected Artist of the RSFSR' in 1987. After the collapse of the Soviet Union Bunin gave up his position as teacher at the Central Music School of the Moscow Conservatory and moved to Germany.
