German Vogler String Quartet was founded in East Berlin in 1985. Widely characterized by their extraordinary musical intelligence and highly creative playing with homogenous sound, as well as its dedication to including modern and contemporary music in its programs, the Vogler Quartet combines an extensive schedule of concerts with its own festivals in Germany and Ireland.
