Kleven: Sinfonia Libera in due parte, score reconstructed by Robert Rönnes 2003/2005. As the title indicates, it was originally conceived as a work in two parts. Its première in 1927 was accompanied by the now familiar chorus of criticism. We do not know whether Kleven was later able to complete the second part; if he did, this must be considered as lost.
A striking early example of Norwegian expressive modernism.
