Chant rigoureux

For viola and piano (with Russian Jewish pianist Jascha Nemtsov). Weprik very clearly borrowed from the music-making practice of the synagogoue in his Chant Rigoureux; it is possible to recognise as it were the antiphonal chant betweeen cantor and choir, and the final hymn-like prayers of the entire congregation.
