The long unknown canon BWV1086 was recorded by Bach scholar Johann Gottfried Müthel, who worked in Riga from 1753 until his death in 1788. Most of the musicians featured in this recording are members of the Freiburg Baroque Orchestra and/or of the FBO-Consort. Peformers: Gottfried von der Goltz, Petra Müllejans, Daniela Helms, Christian Goosses violin-viola, Kristin von der Goltz violoncello and Michael Behringer cembalo. Outstanding: MusicWeb.
