Emmerich Smola



Czech conductor Emmerich Smola (b. 1922). Director of the SWR Radio Orchestra Kaiserslauten between 1948 and 1987. One of the best known German radio conductors. His artistic profile was not least the result of the originality characterizing his programs, which covered a broad range of popular music from folk to opera.
