Theodor Hoch



German composer and cornet player Theodor Hoch (1842-1906). He played the cornet in the band of the Emperor Franz Grenadier Guards in Berlin. In 1867 he won a prize as best soloist at an exhibition in Paris. In 1876 the band visited the USA where he became widely known as a soloist. Emigrated to the USA.
