Swedish composer Anders Eliasson (1947-2013). From 1966 to 1972 student at the Royal College of Music in Stockholm. Member of the Electronic Music Studio Foundation's artistic committee 1972-1973. 1993-1994 guest professor of composition at the Sibelius Academy in Helsinki, Finland. The City of Stockholm Arts Award 1973, Christ Johnson Prize 1977 and 1983, and the City of Stockholm honorary Award 1994. In a succession of chamber compositions in the 1970s Anders Eliasson developed his grasp of the basic elements of music: intensity, airness, tension, relaxation, density, incisiveness and darkness.
