Erkki-Sven Tüür



Estonian composer Erkki-Sven Tüür (b1959) absorbed as a young boy popularist and modernist influences, including rock music, atonality and minimalism. Graduated from the Tallinn Conservatory in 1984 as composer. He has also taken private lessons with Lepo Sumera. His self-improvement in electronic music took place in Darmstadt. Tüür's major part of output is instrumental music.
