A transcription for violin and piano (by Vadim Gluzman's father Michael Gluzman in 2005) of the 1934 Suite for Jazz Orchestra No. 1. Shostakovich composed the suite for a state competition in Leningrad with the aim of raising the quality (!) of jazz. With Vadim Gluzman's wife Angela Joffe, piano.
