Lilya Zilberstein

Since winning First prize in the 1987 Busoni International Piano Competition, Lilya Zilberstein (born in Moscow 1965) has established herself as one of the finest pianists in the world. Since 1990 she lives in Germany. In 1998 Zilberstein was awarded the International Prize of the 'Accademia Musicale Chigiana' in Siena, Italy. This distinction has also been awarded to such musicians as Gidon Kremer, Gil Shaham, Ann-Sophie Mutter and Krystian Zimerman.
