Anne Sofie von Otter



Swedish mezzo-soprano Anne Sofie von Otter (b. 1955) is part of a long line of Swedish vocal exports that started off with Jenny Lind. She is extremely versatile with a repertoire that ranges from Monteverdi to Bartók in opera, but also includes all the great sacred masterpieces. She is also a renowned recitalist and her records have won all major awards.
