Lucia Negro



Swedish pianist Lucia Negro (b. 1938) is one of Sweden’s most highly acclaimed pianists, appearing often on radio and television. As a piano soloist she has collaborated with conductors such as Paavo Järvi, Kyrill Kondrashin, Rafael Kubelik, Esa-Pekka Salonen and Leif Segerstam. Lucia Negro performs as a piano soloist with orchestras, gives solo piano recitals and often plays in chamber music contexts. She also serves as a pianist with the Stockholm Royal Philharmonic Orchestra. She is a member of the Royal Academy of Music. Born in Italy, has lived in Sweden since 1968.
