Gonzalo Moreno

Gonzalo Moreno was born in Madrid. After studying music at the Real conservatorio superior in that city he continued his piano studies at the Royal Academy of Music in London, graduating with the highest honours (the Recital Diploma). He later went on to study at the Norwegian College of Music. In 1991 he was appointed as solo pianist with the Oslo Philharmonic Orchestra, and he has often appeared as a soloist with the orchestra. Moreno has appeared as a pianist and chamber musician at music festivals in Oslo, Risør, Bergen and Schleswig-Holstein, and is in great demand as a chamber player on Norwegian radio and television. He has toured in a number of countries, including Norway, Sweden, Germany, France and Spain.
