Andrea Marcon



Italian organist, harpsichordist and conductor Andrea Marcon (b. 1963). From 1983 to 1987 he studied old music, organ and harpsichord at the Schola Cantorum Basiliensis. Received an award at the Bruges Competition in 1985 and won Innsbruck's International Paul Hofhaimer Organ Competition in 1986 and the Bologna Harpsichord Competition in 1991. Since 1998 he has been a lecturer and professor for harpsichord, organ and performance practice at the Basel Schola Cantorum Basiliensis.
