Robert Aitken



Canadian flautist and composer Robert Aitken (b.1939).
He has played with the Vancouver Symphony Orchestra, CBC Symphony Orchestra, and Toronto Symphony Orchestra. Artistic Director of New Music Concerts in Toronto. He has also done classical and contemporary music (along with his wife Erica Goodman, who is a harpist) on BIS Records. In 1969 he was awarded the Canada Music Citation, an award given for outstanding dedication to Canadian music.
