The Lithuanian St. Christopher Chamber Orchestra was founded by professor Donatas Katkus in 1994. The orchestra belongs to the Vilnius City government and is named after the guardian of Vilnius, St. Christopher, who is emblazoned on Vilnius' coat of arms.
