Imre Kálmán



Hungarian composer Imre Kálmán (1882-1953). Composer of operettas, among them The Gypsy Princess and Countess Maritza. In 1940 he i moved to the United States to escape Nazi persecution and became a naturalized citizen of the USA in 1942. Emigrated back to Europe in 1949.
