The *Missa Solemnis* album brings together world-class musicians to perform Ludwig van Beethoven’s monumental mass, a profound musical and spiritual journey. Conducted by Antal Doráti, with soloists from around the globe, this recording reflects a plea for inner and outer peace, a theme central to Beethoven’s work. The collaboration includes musicians from the Berlin Philharmonic, London Symphony Orchestra, and others, alongside the University of Maryland Chorus. Proceeds support the International Physicians for the Prevention of Nuclear War (IPPNW) and victims of atomic explosions, amplifying the message of peace.
