Gustaf Sjökvist



Swedish choral conductor (born 1943). Studied sacred music and orchestral conducting at the Royal Music Academy in Stockholm from 1963 to 1970. He received decisive impulses both during and following his studies with Eric Ericson and Herbert Blomstedt. Honoured with the royal 'Litteris et artibus' medal. In 2000 he was appointed Swedish Court organist.
