Latvian conductor Sigvards Klava (b. 1962). Graduated from the Latvian Academy of Music in 1986. Artistic director and principal conductor of the Latvian Radio Choir since 1992. Awarded the Latvian Music Grand Prix in 1999 and received the Latvian Council of Ministers Award for achievements in culture in 2000.
