'Tabula rasa' is Pärt's most extensive instrumental work, written for string orchestra, two violins and prepared piano. Inspired by the concerto grosso from the Baroque period - a small group of instruments, in this case two violins, against the rest of the orchestra. With Jan Söderblom, violin I, Tero Latvala, violin II and Jouko Laivuori, piano.
