Béla Bánfalvi



Born in Budapest 1954, completed his studies at the Liszt Academy and joined the teaching staff. Leader of the Hungarian National Philharmonic Orchestra, member of the Bartók String Quartet between 1982 and 1985, when he became leder of the Budapest Strings. 1985 he was awarded the Bartók-Pásztory Prize.
