Alexandre Tansman

Polish/French composer Alexandre Tansman (1897-1986).
Studies at the Warsaw Conservatoire before moving to France, where he subsequently lived, except for the period 1941-1946, when he was resident in the United States. He was a French resident and his music is partly reaching back to French musical tradition at the beginning of the 20th century.
