Lepo Sumera



Estonian composer Lepo Sumera (1950-2000).
He was one of the great characters in the musical life of his native Estonia. An admired symphonist and a pioneer in electro-acoustic and computer music, he was also an accomplished lecturer and organizer as well as being the Estonian Minister of Culture during the years 1988-1992. Mainly known for his symphonic works, but Sumera also composed for the choir.
