Guido Santórsola

Uruguayan composer Guido Santórsola (1904-1994) was a composer of broad vision, not averse to use past musical periods for stimulus. Born in Italy, moved with his family to Brazil at a very young age and later to Uruguay where he became a citizen. His works use Brazilian folk music and modernist techniques.
