Wayne Peterson
American composer Wayne Peterson (b. 1927). A Fulbright scholarship took him to London for study at the Royal Academy of music. A commission for the San Francisco Symphony Orchestra, 'The Heart of the Dark', brought him a Pulitzer Price in 1992. Many years professor of music at the San Francisco State University.
