Michael Matthews



Canadian composer, teacher and conductor Michael Matthews (b. 1950). Ph.D. Degree in 1982 after composition studies at North Texas State University. He has been the recipient of numerous awards. Member of the chamber ensemble Thira and the GroundSwell new music series. Matthews has lived and travelled extensively in Asia, Central America and the Caribbean.
