Giovanni Girolamo Kapsberger
Italian composer Giovanni Girolamo Kapsberger (1580-1651), born in Venice of German decent. Kapsberger worked chiefly in Rome as a theorbo player and composer, and 1624-1644 served Cardinal Francesco Barberini.
