Bellerofonte Castaldi

Italian composer Bellerofonte Castaldi (1580-1649) was born into an aristocratic family in Modena and led an adventurous life. At the beginning of the 17th century he travelled through Germany and Italy. Back in his hometown he got tangled up in a murder case which led to his temporary exile. Later he was shot and wounded and he was also imprisoned on numerous occasions due to his satirical essays.
