Campra's cantata for 1 voice and ensemble 'Les Femmes'. A charming piece of innocent rococo entertainment in which the protagonist, fatigued and buffeted by the vicissitudes of love, decides to renounce women althogether and retire to the depths of the forest. Fils de la nuit et du silence is a wonderfully evocative air in praise of Sleep.
