Leonhard von Call



Austrian composer Leonhard von Call (1768-1815) was a very popular and fashionable composer in his own time, but posterity immediately consigned him to oblivion. A major reason for this was that he composed mostly for amateurs and turned his attention to an instrument that was then much in favour, the guitar.
