John Bull

English composer John Bull (1562-1628), one of the leading keyboard virtuosos of his time. His career forms a link with the developing keyboard tradition of the Netherlands. Bull was in service of Queen Elizabeth and her successor, before, in 1613, taking refuge in the Netherlands after being charged with adultery.
